NUSCO will be performing for a worthy cause this September, in aid of the victims of Taiwan’s recent Typhoon Morakot.

This fund-raising concert, Strings of Hope (千里送筝情), organised by Thong Kheng Charitable Institution, will be held at the Singapore Conference Hall on 20th September 2009 (Sunday), at 7.30pm.

Both NUSCO and Singapore’s Zheng Ensemble, the concert’s main perfomers, will be featured together with guest performers, Beijing Normal University Alumni Association (Singapore), Fuhua Primary School Guzheng Ensemble, and Kong Hwa School Guzheng Ensemble.

The concert, to be hosted by popular local artiste and public welfare advocate, Billy Wang (东方比利), will also be graced by MP for Marine Parade GRC (Geylang Serai), Dr Fatimah Lateef.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to 'Tzu Chi Foundation'.  Tickets are priced at $20, $30, $50, $100, $200, and $300.

For ticket orders, kindly contact Zheng Professionals (名师筝院) at 6784 7568 / 9738 5342, or Thong Kheng Charitable Institution at 6742 8036 / 6742 6718.  Your kind support will be gladly received.

Indeed, you have shown that you were.

NUSCO's Welcome Tea 2009 is over! A big thank you to all who have contributed to the overwhelming success and heartening turnout, in ways great or small.

Membership applications are now closed for the current Academic Year (AY 2009/2010). However, if you have great experience and are still passionate about joining, you may still contact us.

And to our new members, welcome to our big NUSCO family! We truly hope that the time we will spend together will be a fruitful one for you, as much as us.

Wondering what being 'NUSCO enough' entails?

If you are indeed NUSCO enough, the NUSCO family wants to meet nobody but YOU at our Welcome Tea this August!
